Customer locations are geo-coded and stored in a database. Once an order is placed, the customer geo-code and delivery slot information are fed into AssetTrackr system. AssetTrackr then creates a Geo-zone (virtual zones on the map) around the delivery location and records the time of delivery. This data is used by BigBasket to improve their “on-time” delivery and to optimize workforce.
